Pacer HPN-2A Polyester Hand Pump with Nitrile Hose

The Pacer HPN-2A is a double-acting, hand-operated piston pump for transferring liquids out of drums without pouring or dumping. It is engineered from durable thermoplastics and uses Viton O-rings with a cork-nitrile gasket.

The 2A options on this model add an 8 ft nitrile (Buna-N) discharge hose with polyester elbow and nozzle, and a two-piece 1 in polyester suction tube 34 in long. A barrel bung adapter is included, so the pump is ready to fit a drum.

Key Features

  • Double-acting piston delivers liquid on both strokes
  • Two-position handle with controlled discharge rate
  • Self-lubricating piston ring runs wet or dry
  • 8 ft nitrile discharge hose with polyester elbow and nozzle
  • Barrel bung adapter included

Applications

  • Drum and barrel transfer
  • Point-of-use dispensing
  • Agricultural and automotive liquids

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I use it with a heated liquid?
No. Pacer specifies indoor ambient temperature use only, and the pump should not be used on a chemical with a heat source applied.
Q: What if the liquid is thick in cold weather?
Viscosity is rated at 70 degrees F, so cold outdoor temperatures can make a liquid too thick to pump well.
Q: Is it safe for flammable liquids?
Only if both containers are bonded and grounded to prevent static sparks, and the liquid is compatible with the materials.
Q: Are repair kits available?
Yes. Pacer offers repair kits for the HPN with cork-nitrile gasket, Viton O-rings, and a Teflon piston ring.
