Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is the difference between the HPV and the HPN?
The HPV uses Viton gaskets, while the HPN uses a cork-nitrile gasket with Viton O-rings.
Q: Does it come with a hose and suction tube?
Those are optional equipment on Pacer hand pumps. Ask us to confirm what you need before ordering.
Q: Can I use it in freezing weather?
Pacer rates it for indoor ambient use, and cold liquid can become too thick to pump.
Q: What safety steps should I take?
Wear protective gloves, apron, and goggles, and bond and ground both containers when moving flammable liquids.
